About
Hi, I'm Sara
Founder of Rise Wild Coaching, former trail builder, nature nerd, dog mom, and someone who believes we already hold the answers we're searching for.
For more than ten years, my life was rooted in conservation, trail building, outdoor leadership, and working in some of the most beautiful and remote landscapes across the country.
Again and again, I witnessed the same thing.
Nature has a way of stripping away everything unnecessary.
Out there, away from distractions and expectations, people remembered who they were.
I did too.
The woods weren't just where I worked. They were where I made sense.
Then life changed.
I walked away from a career I had worked incredibly hard to build. Although it was the right decision, it left me facing a question I wasn't prepared to answer:
Who am I when the thing I've built my identity around is gone?
That season of uncertainty ultimately became one of the most transformative periods of my life.
It led me to Martha Beck's Wayfinder Coaching program, where I discovered a powerful coaching framework grounded in self-trust, curiosity, neuroscience, psychology, and personal transformation.
Rise Wild was born from that journey.
Today, I help others navigate their own transitions, reconnect with themselves, and create lives that feel more aligned, purposeful, and authentic.
When I'm not coaching, you'll find me mountain biking, exploring rivers, camping, hiking, or adventuring with my partner and our dog, Kootznoowoo.
Welcome. I'm so glad you're here.
